This page explains who runs this website and how personal data is processed, in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR), Spanish Organic Law 3/2018 (LOPDGDD) and Spanish Law 34/2002 (LSSI-CE).

This is the personal presentation website of Dan Anghel and it is not used for any commercial activity.
2. What data is collected
Through the contact form: the contact details and the message you enter in it. To protect the form against abuse, your IP address, your browser and device information (user agent) and the date of your message are also stored. No special categories of data are requested.
3. Purpose of processing
Your data is used only to answer your message, whether it is about a job opportunity, a project or a collaboration, and to follow up on the conversation that results from it. Your IP address and browser information are used only to detect and block spam and abuse of the form. No automated decisions or profiling are carried out, and your data is never used for advertising.
4. Legal basis
- Answering your message: taking the steps you ask for before a possible contract or collaboration (Art. 6.1.b GDPR) and your consent, given by ticking the acceptance box before sending the form (Art. 6.1.a GDPR).
- Your IP address and browser information: the legitimate interest in protecting this website against spam and abuse (Art. 6.1.f GDPR).
5. Retention period
Your data is kept while it is needed to answer your message and follow up on the resulting conversation, and for no longer than 12 months after the last contact. It is then deleted, unless the law requires keeping it longer. You can ask for it to be deleted at any time (see section 7).
6. Recipients and international transfers
Your data is not passed to third parties unless required by law. The hosting and email providers of this website may process it as data processors, only to provide their service. The hosting provider also keeps standard server logs (such as IP addresses and the pages requested) for security and technical purposes.
The website fonts are loaded from Google Fonts (Google LLC, United States), see section 9. Google is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework, which the European Commission recognises as offering an adequate level of protection.
7. Your rights
You can exercise your rights of access, rectification, erasure, objection, restriction of processing and data portability, and withdraw your consent at any time, by writing to hello@dananghel.com. If you believe your rights have not been respected, you may file a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Agency (www.aepd.es).
8. Security
Appropriate technical and organisational measures are applied to protect your personal data against loss, misuse or unauthorised access.
9. Cookies
This website only uses technical cookies that are strictly necessary for the contact form to work securely, and only when you visit the contact page. They do not track you and do not require consent (Art. 22.2 LSSI-CE). No analytics, advertising or profiling cookies are used. If you switch between light and dark mode, your choice is kept in your browser's local storage. It stays on your device and is never sent to the server.

The website fonts are loaded from Google Fonts, which receives your IP address in order to deliver them (Google Privacy Policy). You can block or delete cookies at any time in your browser settings.
If analytics tools are added in the future, this policy will be updated and your consent will be requested before any non-essential cookie is set.
10. Terms of use and intellectual property
Using this website implies accepting these terms. All content, including texts, design, source code and photographs owned by the website owner, is protected by intellectual property law and may not be reproduced without written permission. The owner is not responsible for the content of external websites linked from this site.
11. Applicable law
These terms are governed by Spanish law. For any dispute, the parties submit to the courts of Barcelona, unless the law provides otherwise.
